On the Gold Coast today, Anna visited Seaworld and announced nearly $38 million for statewide new tourism initiatives as part of a record tourism marketing and infrastructure package for the next three years.
“All through Queensland, tourism means jobs,” Anna said. “And, in these tough times, protecting jobs is my number one priority”.
The Queensland tourism industry employs more than 119,000 people and contributes around $9 billion a year to the State economy.
